Monthly donations to your fundraiser
Yes. On your donation page, donors can choose between One-time and Monthly. A monthly donation continues as long as your fundraiser accepts donations and the donor does not stop it. You do not need to set anything up for this.
Where do I see my monthly donations?
Every monthly debit appears as a regular donation in your donations overview. When you get a new monthly donor, you receive an e-mail with a link to the overview of all monthly donations to your fundraiser.
When are monthly donations paid out?
The monthly debits are made by SEPA direct debit. A donor can have such a payment reversed for up to 8 weeks without giving a reason. That is why we only add a collected monthly donation to your payout 60 days after the payment date. The first donation (with iDEAL | Wero or Bancontact) is paid out as usual.
What happens to monthly donations when I close my fundraiser or take it offline?
- Close for donations (yourself, or through the end date or the target amount): all monthly donations end. Your donors receive an e-mail that their donation ends. In the Close or end fundraiser… window you see beforehand how many monthly donors will receive this message.
- Take the page offline: the monthly donations pause. Donors do not receive a message; nothing is debited. If you put the fundraiser back online within 60 days, the donations continue, one month after you put it back online. After 60 days offline they end and your donors receive an e-mail.
- Delete the fundraiser: all monthly donations end.
