Monthly donations
Yes. On the donation page you choose between One-time and Monthly. If you choose Monthly, you support the fundraiser with the same amount every month, until you stop your donation or the fundraiser ends.
How do I start a monthly donation?
- Choose Monthly on the donation page and fill in your amount.
- Fill in your e-mail address. It is mandatory, even if you donate anonymously. It is not shown on the fundraiser page. You need it to confirm and to stop your donation.
- Pay your first donation with iDEAL | Wero or Bancontact. This payment starts the monthly direct debit. That is why fewer payment methods are available than for a one-time donation.
- You will receive an e-mail. Click on the button in this e-mail to confirm your e-mail address. Only then does your monthly donation start. No e-mail? Also check your spam folder.
After that, the amount is automatically debited every month by SEPA direct debit.
How do I stop my monthly donation?
You can stop at any time, in two ways:
- Via the stop link in every e-mail you receive from us about your monthly donation.
- Via your dashboard, under Monthly donations. No account yet? Then create one with the same e-mail address. Your monthly donations are then linked to your account.
After you stop, nothing more is debited. You will receive a confirmation by e-mail.
When does my monthly donation end automatically?
- The fundraiser is closed for donations, reaches its end date or is deleted. You will then receive an e-mail that your donation has ended.
- The fundraiser is temporarily offline. Your donation is then paused. Once the fundraiser is back online, your donation continues. The missed months are not made up. If the fundraiser is offline for more than 60 days, your donation ends and you will receive an e-mail.
- The direct debit fails several times in a row. You will then receive an e-mail.
Would you like to donate monthly again? You can do so at any time via the fundraiser page.
