? Unsere Existenz steht auf dem Spiel
Früher: über 5.500 € netto monatlich
Heute: ALG I, bald Bürgergeld
Meine Frau Anke (50) arbeitet in Teilzeit: 1.300 € netto
Sascha, Anke, Oma & unsere Hunde ?
? From Stability to Survival – We’re Fighting to Save Our Home and Our Dignity
Hello,
my name is Sascha, I’m 50 years old. Until late 2022, I worked as a Quality Manager in aerospace engineering. I had a good income, responsibilities, and a secure future. Then a simple medical procedure changed everything – forever.
? The Diagnosis That Shattered Our Lives: CRPS – The “Suicide Disease”
After routine surgery, I developed CRPS Type I (Complex Regional Pain Syndrome) – one of the most painful conditions known to medicine.
Since then, I’ve been permanently disabled:
Full CRPS symptoms – all 4 diagnostic criteria confirmed
Care level 3 – I need daily support
Right side paralyzed – I was right-handed
Pain level 3–8 daily, 24/7
Heavy medication, side effects included
Mobility aids, orthotics, compression gear, crutches
I cannot work – I can't function for more than 2–3 hours a day
Constant exhaustion, nerve pain, sensory overload
? Doctors estimate my chance of recovery at just 5 %.
? From Protection to Legal Ruin
I thought I was protected.
I had disability insurance to safeguard my family – but the provider refused to pay, citing a supposed paperwork error.
We sued.
The court case dragged on through 2023–2024 – and we lost.
Now we face legal costs of up to €15,000.
Our legal insurance is currently re-evaluating coverage – it was granted only provisionally. If they decline full coverage, we’ll be left alone with the debt.
Like many families, we also have multiple loans to repay – but only one of them is currently covered by a credit insurance, and only as long as I remain officially unemployed. Once I transition to welfare support, that safety net disappears too.
? Our Home Is in Jeopardy
Formerly: over €5,500/month
Now: unemployment benefits, soon social assistance
My wife Anke earns €1,300/month part-time
Our 95-year-old grandmother lives with us – pension: €500/month
And our 3 beloved dogs – our only comfort – could soon be homeless with us.
? Why We Are Asking for Help
We are launching this fundraiser to:
✅ Save our house from foreclosure
✅ Pay off debts and legal bills
✅ Regain some security and dignity – for me, my wife, grandma and our dogs
Even €5 or €10 makes a difference.
If you can’t donate – please share our story. Someone out there might be able to help.
From the bottom of our hearts – thank you
Sascha, Anke, Grandma & our dogs ?
