Hello,
My name is Michael, I am 54 years old, and I live with my wife, Marion. She is 64 years old.
At the end of the year, a very sad event befell us. Marion had a serious fall. She fell and fractured her femur
and suffered a complicated hip injury. She was immediately operated on in the hospital,
and after many days, she went to a rehabilitation clinic. The accident turned our lives on a path we never wanted. She can barely walk anymore and has also become very depressed.
She is now confined to our house because we have rooms that all have tripping hazards, and the doorways between them are very narrow. She can no longer move around the house independently, let alone go outside.
The entire house now needs to be adapted for accessibility so that Marion can regain her zest for life and see light at the end of the tunnel, so that she can develop some joy and will to live again.
The entire house now needs to be adapted for her disability so that Marion can regain her zest for life and see light at the end of the tunnel. I don't earn much money, and therefore can't invest anything in the house that would improve mobility. At least her health insurance company installed a stairlift so I can take her and her wheelchair outside for some fresh air.
It's not easy for me to admit this, but this appeal for donations is my only hope for making the renovations a reality. Marion doesn't know that I started this plea for help to make it happen.
I would like to thank you in advance for taking the time to read my request for help to the end.
Deep down, I hope that this appeal will make Marion's life more livable again.
This is my greatest wish.
Kind regards to everyone who took the time to read this.
