Renovierung der Wohnung meiner an Demenz erkrankten Mama
Meine 76 jaehrige Mutter wurde nach einem Zusammenbruch einer Herz-OP unterzogen. Dabei wurde ihr leider beginnende Demenz diagnostiziert, die sie ueber einige Zeit gut ueberspielen konnte. Voruebergehend ist sie wegen der notwendigen medizinischen Nachversorgung in einem Pflegeheim untergebracht.
Vor ihrem Zusammenbruch hatte sie stets jegliche haeusliche Hilfe (Reinigung, Renovierung etc) als auch Besuche abgelehnt, was eine verwahrloste haeusliche Situation geschaffen hat. Es ist unbedingt notwendig, dass ihre Wohnung in ihrem Haus (Bj.1951) vor ihrer Rueckkehr saniert (u.a. Behebung eines Wasserrohrbruchs) wird. Fuer die Pflegekraft und Betreuung ist eine seit langem ungenutzte leerstehende Wohneinheit in ihrem Haus vorgesehen.
Meine Mutter hat stets sehr viel Wert auf ihre Unabgaengigkeit und Selbststaendigkeit gelegt und ist sehr ungluecklich bisher nicht in ihr geliebtes Haeuschen zurueckkehren zu koennen und vermisst schmerzlich ihre Haustiere und ihr Gaertchen. Wir hoffen sehr auf diesem Weg finanzielle Hilfe zu finden um die Situation fuer meine Mutter zu loesen. Jede noch so kleine Spende ist ein Schritt vorwaerts und hilft meiner Mutter schnellstmoeglich in ihr gewohntes, vertrautes Zuhause zurueckkehren!!

My 76-year-old mother underwent emergency heart surgery in february after a collapse. Unfortunately, she was diagnosed with early dementia, which she was able to manage well for some time. Due to the necessary medical follow-up and 24-hour care, she is temporarily housed in a nursing home.
Before her collapse, she had consistently refused any domestic help (cleaning, renovation, etc.) as well as visitors, which created a untidy home situation. It is necesary that her apartment in her house (built in 1951) be renovated (including repairing a burst water pipe) and adapted for disabled access before her return. Space must also be created for accommodation and living space for the caregiver(s) who will be looking after her, as she is no longer able to manage her own household. A long-unused, vacant unit in her home is intended for the caregiver and support staff.
My mother only has a small pension, and her savings currently cover the monthly costs of the nursing home. Unfortunately, we have no financial resources or savings available for the necessary renovation and remodeling of her apartment, plus the unit for the required 24-hour care.
Aside from the desperate financial situation regarding the payment of the nursing home costs, my mother is very unhappy about not being able to return to her beloved home yet and misses her pets terribly. We hope to find financial assistance this way to resolve the situation for my mother. Every donation, no matter how small, is a step forward and helps that my mother can return to her familiar home as quickly as possible!!
Mi madre de 76 años fue sometida a una cirugía cardíaca de urgencia en febrero tras sufrir un colapso. Lamentablemente, le diagnosticaron demencia precoz, que pudo controlar bien durante un tiempo. Gracias al seguimiento médico necesario y a la atención las 24 horas, se encuentra temporalmente en una residencia de ancianos. Antes de su colapso, se negaba constantemente a recibir ayuda doméstica (limpieza, reformas, etc.), así como a recibir visitas, lo que creó una situación de abandono en su hogar. Es imperativo que su apartamento en su casa (construida en 1951) se renueve (incluida la reparación de una tubería de agua rota) y se adapte para personas con discapacidad antes de su regreso. También es necesario crear espacio para el alojamiento y la vivienda de la cuidadora que la cuidarán, ya que ya no puede gestionar su propia casa. Una unidad vacía y sin uso desde hace tiempo en su casa está destinada a las cuidadora y al personal de apoyo. Mi madre solo recibe una pequeña pensión, y sus ahorros cubren actualmente los gastos mensuales de la residencia. Lamentablemente, no disponemos de recursos financieros ni ahorros para la renovación y remodelación necesarias de su apartamento, ni de la unidad para la atención las 24 horas. Además de la desesperada situación financiera para pagar los gastos de la residencia, mi madre está muy triste por no poder regresar aún a su querido hogar y extraña muchísimo a sus mascotas . Esperamos encontrar ayuda financiera de esta manera para resolver la situación de mi madre. Cada donación, por pequeña que sea, es un paso adelante y ayuda a garantizar que mi madre pueda regresar a su hogar familiar lo antes posible.
