The status of your fundraiser
On your dashboard you see the status of each fundraiser:
- Not online yet: your fundraiser has been created but is not yet visible. You can finish it at your own pace and check it with the preview.
- Live: your fundraiser page is visible and people can donate.
- Closed for donations: your fundraiser page stays visible with the amount raised, but people can no longer donate.
- Offline: nobody can see your fundraiser page. This is temporary; you can put it back online at any time.
How do I put my fundraiser live?
Click on Put live now on your dashboard.
How do I close my fundraiser or take it offline?
Choose Close or end fundraiser… on your dashboard. You have three options:
- Close for donations (recommended): your page stays online, donating is no longer possible.
- Take the page offline: your page is temporarily not visible.
- Delete the fundraiser: permanent. This is not possible as long as there are donations that have not been paid out.
Can my fundraiser close automatically?
Yes. If you have set an end date, your fundraiser closes for donations on that date. If you have switched on Disable donating when target amount is reached, your fundraiser closes when the target amount is reached. In both cases you receive an e-mail 7 days in advance.
Can I reopen my fundraiser?
- Closed for donations: click on Reopen donations. If the end date has passed or the target amount has been reached with automatic closing switched on, first adjust that setting.
- Offline: click on Put back online. Your fundraiser gets the status it had before.
- You cannot restore a deleted fundraiser.
