CREATIVES LEND A HAND
Kenya floods displace thousands. Local Mukuru artists want to help 100 families in their community with food & essentials:
Over the past few weeks, the storms in Kenya have displaced thousands of people in the region. Casualties are increasing, and the issues people now face are just beginning. The government is trying to help, but it isn't enough. We may not be able to help everyone, but we can help some.
In the Mukuru slums, where people live below the international poverty line, there is a community of upcoming young artists. They have chosen the creative route to build a life for themselves and support their families. We want to provide five trolleys, each consisting of Maize flour, Wheat flour, Rice, Ndengu, Beans, and Sanitary products, to assist 100 families. That’s five trolleys for a hundred homes, each worth 300 Euros.
I am reaching out to my creative tribe all over the world – from graphic designers to chief creative officers, from creative strategists to marketing specialists, and to anyone in the creative space. A small donation can go a long way. That is why we started this Fundraising campaign, to help people in need – with the right attitude. So, please, I urge you to donate now and make a difference in the lives of these families.
