Background

The ongoing conflict in Lebanon coupled with a severe economic crisis has left many families in a critical state.

In the latest escalations many people sought shelter in Abbassieh (South Lebanon ) mainly in schools.

The local town counsel established “Action Group”  which is made up of volunteers from the local community who stayed behind.

Action Group is working non-stop to provide essential supplies for families who lost their homes and  livelihoods.

WHY A SELF-INITIATIVE

It  is a grass-root initiative, from the people for the people. Delivering help to vulnerable people in the local community in a significantly faster, efficient and cost effective way while restoring stability and dignity to families who have lost everything.

Purpose

Funds will be allocated to cover the ever-increasing costs of basic essentials, food, medicine, and medical supplies.
