As soon as you delete your account, we remove the personal data linked to it from our active systems. There are two exceptions: if there are still donations that have not been paid out, we keep your bank details and contact details until the last payout. And we keep data about donations and payouts for as long as the law requires.

As a certified crowdfunding platform, we—together with our official payment and verification partner Payaut (a Nuvei company)—are legally required to comply with strict European financial regulations, such as the Anti-Money Laundering and Anti-Terrorist Financing regulations.If you have completed a bank account registration or verification process in the past, the statutory retention periods and privacy protocol of Payaut apply to those specific financial details. Financial institutions are legally obliged to retain identification and transaction data for a statutory period (usually 5 to 7 years, depending on the exact transaction status) for tax and financial authorities. This data cannot be destroyed immediately upon your request, as the legal retention obligation takes precedence over the right to be forgotten.
