Das World Child Forum ist der Beweis. Seit 2023 haben wir zwei internationale Foren durchgeführt, mit über 450 Teilnehmenden aus mehr als 20 Ländern. Junge Menschen aus der Ukraine und Russland saßen zusammen im Gespräch. Genauso wie Teilnehmende aus Palästina und Israel. Aus diesem Prozess ist eine Nobelpreis-Nominierung entstanden, eine Intervention beim Weltwirtschaftsforum – und etwas, das größer ist als einzelne Ereignisse: ein neues Narrativ. Nicht für Kinder. Mit Kindern.

Keine Kinderkonferenz. Kein Planspiel. Begegnung auf Augenhöhe.

Unsere Methode: Wir spielen. Wir experimentieren. Wir nehmen Fragen und formen sie in andere um. Das Forum ist ein Ort, an dem Erwachsene wirklich zuhören, wenn Kinder sprechen. An dem niemand das letzte Wort hat. An dem die Frage einer Achtjährigen genauso zählt wie die Erfahrung eines Sechzigjährigen.

Warum Davos? Weil hier über Zukunft entschieden wird. Und weil die, die am längsten mit diesen Entscheidungen leben, selten im Raum sitzen.

Der Davos Loop: Im Januar sammeln wir Fragen, dort wo über Zukunft entschieden wird. Im Juli erforschen wir sie gemeinsam. Im Januar darauf bringen wir zurück, was entstanden ist. 2026 durchlaufen wir diesen Kreislauf zum ersten Mal vollständig.

Das World Child Forum versteht sich nicht als Gegenveranstaltung zum World Economic Forum, sondern als Ergänzung. Ein Parallelraum am selben Ort. Wo über die Zukunft gesprochen wird, wird sichtbar, wer sie am längsten tragen wird.

The World Child Forum is proof. Since 2023, we‘ve held two international forums with over 450 participants from more than 20 countries. Young people from Ukraine and Russia sat together in conversation. So did participants from Palestine and Israel. Out of this process came a Nobel Peace Prize nomination, an intervention at the World Economic Forum—and something bigger than any single event: a new narrative. Not for children. With children.

Five days. Equal partners. Questions that concern us all.

Not a children‘s conference. Not a simulation. Eye-level encounter.

Our method: We play. We experiment. We take questions and reshape them into new ones. The Forum is a place where adults truly listen when children speak and no one has the final word.

An eight-year-old‘s question carries the same weight as a sixty-year-old‘s experience.

Why Davos? Because this is where decisions about the future are made. And those who will live longest with those decisions are rarely in the room.

The Davos Loop: In January, we collect questions where the future is being decided. In July, we explore them together. The following January, we bring back what emerged.

In 2026, we complete this cycle for the first time.

The World Child Forum isn‘t a counter-event to the World Economic Forum. It‘s a complement. A parallel space in the same location. Where the future is discussed, it becomes visible who will carry it longest.
