The Keys of Münster are intending to run in the Dortmund half marathon for a great cause. Herzenswünsche e.V. is a nationwide association that grants the long-held wishes of seriously ill children and young people.
Around 60 volunteers and four full-time employees work closely with parents, doctors, therapists, and, of course, the affected children themselves to make their heartfelt wishes come true and thus gives them new courage, strength, and joy. Fulfilling a long-held dream contributes significantly to helping them better cope with the often very stressful daily routine in a hospital. Whether it's a meeting with celebrities, a stay at a pony farm, a hot air balloon ride, or a beautifully organized birthday party – every wish is tailored individually and with great dedication.

Die Freimaurer der Schlüssel von Münster wollen beim Dortmunder Halbmarathon für einen guten Zweck mitlaufen. Herzenswünsche e.V. ist ein bundesweiter Verein, der schwerkranken Kindern und Jugendlichen lang gehegte Wünsche erfüllt.
Rund 60 ehrenamtliche und vier hauptamtliche Mitarbeiter arbeiten eng mit Eltern, Ärzten, Therapeuten und natürlich den betroffenen Kindern selbst zusammen, um ihre Herzenswünsche zu erfüllen und ihnen so neuen Mut, Kraft und Freude zu schenken. Die Erfüllung eines lang gehegten Wunsches trägt wesentlich dazu bei, den oft sehr stressigen Krankenhausalltag besser zu bewältigen. Ob ein Treffen mit Prominenten, ein Aufenthalt auf dem Ponyhof, eine Heißluftballonfahrt oder eine liebevoll organisierte Geburtstagsfeier – jeder Wunsch wird individuell und mit viel Engagement erfüllt.
