Help Me Pursue a Master of Public Health at Auckland University of Technology, New Zealand

I am a Nigerian medical graduate with postgraduate training in Public Health and professional experience in healthcare, medical laboratory services, clinical supervision and community health programmes.

Over the years, my professional experience has strengthened my commitment to improving healthcare delivery, particularly in underserved and rural communities where access to quality healthcare remains a major challenge.

I am pleased to have received an offer of admission to study for a Master of Public Health (MPH) at Auckland University of Technology (AUT), New Zealand, beginning in 2027.

This programme represents an important opportunity to deepen my knowledge of public health policy, health systems, disease prevention, health research and strategies for improving population health. I hope to gain valuable international academic exposure and practical knowledge that I can apply to strengthening healthcare systems in Nigeria.

Why I Need Your Support

Although I have secured admission, financing international postgraduate education is a significant challenge. The cost extends beyond tuition fees to accommodation, daily living expenses, international travel, student visa processing, health insurance, books and other academic requirements.

I am therefore seeking to raise €36,000 towards these educational and related expenses.

The funds raised will be allocated to:

My Long-Term Vision

My ambition is to use the knowledge and experience gained through this programme to contribute meaningfully to public health development in Nigeria.

I am particularly interested in strengthening rural primary healthcare, improving access to essential health services, supporting evidence-based health policies, developing healthcare workforce capacity and promoting preventive healthcare.

I believe that investing in public health education can produce benefits beyond the individual graduate. The knowledge acquired can contribute to better-informed health programmes, stronger healthcare institutions and improved health outcomes for communities.
